All Over

The "All Over" series is derived from my "Instant Sculptures" but dialed to eleven. The painterly action is all over the place. The psycological concept of "Flow" (by Mihály Csíkszentmihály) is a pretty good summary of my state when working on these "All Overs". And it is my feeling that the paintings construct perculiar time-based spaces during this hour-long and nearly automatic process.
