Angels And Ghosts is a loosely figurative series of original paintings focusing on the concepts of myth, mortality, and female archetypes. The idea of resting in a place between life and death, and the similarities between the typically favored angel archetype, the typically feared ghost, and the representations of Goddess and Witch. Rich with symbolism and metaphor, this series asks us to consider whether we are more ourselves while on the physical plane or once we have stepped into the great unknown.
