Avenue Walk

I often go for walks to get a breather from my studio, clear my head and be open to visual "surprises". These images are based on walks around my neighborhood. The series is reflective of the techniques from Into the Other Land, but with more abstraction in the painterly process. As a former designer and photographer, these skills are very evident in the preparation of each piece. I will continue painting in both series as they are a wonderful challenge and balancing act between hard-earned skills and free flow experimentation.
