The second part, Memories, reflects my recollections of my mother when she was young. Ironically, as her memories of past events and people grow sharper, her grasp of the present becomes more blurred. In contrast, my paintings capture this juxtaposition from my perspective, blending clear reality with hazy, distant memories. The past is the past, but the present will someday become part of it too. Through Cocoon, I aim to preserve the warmth, security, and reassurance our family provides—like a cocoon, wrapping us in love and protection that nothing else can replicate.
