The series "codex nautica", consisting of 35 photograph, photographed with a lensless camera obscura naturalis, see themselves entirely in the tradition of this special camera. The focus here is not on the absolute realism of the image, but on the viewer's perception of a mystical, almost magical aura. This is intensified by the blurring caused by the camera, but also by the little light available, which makes places, objects and living beings shine in a strange light.
