HUMAN TREES

Preserving the environment is one of my concerns. Through this series of panels entitled " Human trees" I try to recall that man is totally part of nature. They are painted sculptures made of natural materials and integrated on the surface of wooden panels. To my mind there are few differences between human beings and trees. Trees just live longer. Their hard and often rough bark hides or protects a heart, an alive and vulnerable spinal-cord. The panels entitled "Discovery", "The shade that one starts to see", "Tree skin", "At my tree's feet", "Struck by lightning,", "When the tree does not hide the forest any more", "Punch Bag" make up this series.
