Crafting my Heritage

The tapestries that we weave and the stories that we write, mirrors our individual heritage. The photogram process is intricate, involving: 1. Hand-drawing the scenes on paper 2. Transferring the drawings onto transparent acetate 3. Placing the acetate on light sensitive paper in the darkroom 4. Casting light onto photographic paper to capture the ethereal white silhouettes of the lines. It's a truly cameraless process resulting in a unique contemporary aesthetic.
