El Mar Hirviendo

El Mar Hirviendo collection explores questions about identity and memory. This collection was exhibited in Belgrade in 2021.  A view from above and without seeing a horizon showing the water like it is boiling from the inside, and it related to my feelings of constant restlessness. Only while spending time by the sea, I noticed that the movement of the water was an external event of my inner state. This externalization of the psychological state creates balance and inner peace and tranquility for me. My fascination with the sea also is connected with the fear of deep water that is magnified by my imagination. Over the years I was investigating ways and using art to overcome the fear and make the connection with the sea.
