Flowerscapes

This is a series of exuberantly oversized flowers, painted with acrylics on canvas. My goal is for the viewer to "get inside" a flower and visually travel around its unique topography. I began this series when I was selected as an Artist-in-Residence at Weir Farm National Historic Site in Connecticut.
