Fragments of 1971

Memory does not return whole. It survives in fragments. The works in this series are based on documented photographs from the Bangladesh Liberation War. Through ink, paper, and process, I attempt to hold on to what remains, not as a complete history, but as fragments of memory, image, and experience. This series does not reconstruct the past, but invites us to encounter it again through what survives.
