Friday Harbor

In 2015 I decided to work on my portraiture skills by challenging myself to paint at least one portrait a week. My inspiration was looking at Soviet Socialist Realist works of soldiers and sailors, with the dramatic lighting and color that I wanted to bring into my own work.
