Haircut Series

Collaboration with Andrew Tamlyn http://artdoxa.com/Tamlynag Andrew and I are pretty inseparable. So, when he went on a family road trip (out west)for a long three weeks, this series was our way of staying connected. While on his adventures Andrew took some pretty amazing Instagram landscape photos. The second he stated posting the photos, I knew I needed to work with them. We decided to keep the collaged portion of the project quite minimalistic and digital, to be in tune with the cellphone photography. I was sitting at home, thinking about cutting my hair and ran across some really great hairstyles on the internet. I forgot I wanted to cut my hair and instead the Haircut series came to be.
