Stacked one on top of the other on tilting frames. The first painting, Hera 1, became the author of the subsequent paintings below (Hera 2, 3, 4). Each one is uniquely linked to the other. The colours and order of pours was inspired by the Liberty fabric print, Hera. Named after the Greek goddess whose sacred animal was the peacock, the Hera print was originally designed in 1887 by Arthur Silver.
