HUMAN MEATBALLS

Examine the human body, not only as cumulus of flesh and bone performing the tasks of our physiological needs, but as a place which is emotionally alive and the receptacle of our temporal and spiritual history. Culturally we have learned from a young age to repress our emotions, believing them to be wrong, inadequate or twisted. We avoid feeling naked and vulnerable. Ignoring our emotions potentiates them, making them stronger and forceful; they become cysts in the body and live deep down weeping, sobbing, guffawing, bellowing, howling or crying without ever being heard.
