Hybrid Paintings

Current Body of Work: All paintings are acrylic on steel mesh. Paint to mesh ratio is 98% paint. Works are 3 dimensional as they have volume, mass, and are approached from many sides. These works are not flat. Large scale works are displayed on the floor. Smaller works are either attached to canvas or are connected to the wall via 'french cleat' which is ideal for taking the weight of the work. Acrylic paint is a polymer...a plastic. It is just as archival as any other acrylic painting. Most works are sealed with varnish for easy dusting and water protection.
