Iceland | Arctic Dreams

Karen has created a new series of paintings inspired by the return of light after the long darkness above latitude 66 degrees north. Karen is working closely with traditional oil painting techniques and materials to explore the space between landscape, form and expression. Inspired by the return of light, her work evokes the soft luminance of an emerging sun on striking Icelandic and Arctic landscapes.
