LeerRaum by Jürgen Novotny

Empty spaces and sceneries of seemingly abandoned areas very often still breath the spirit of things already gone, of human existence, that doesn’t seem so far away. Jürgen F. Novotny’s project „LeerRaum“ tries to catch these spirits with his captures of Liminal Spaces. It’s the photographer’s freedom to use these sometimes very short moments of loneliness to achieve the impression of desolation, of a world being quite recently shuttered by the human race that constructed these structures. Now it’s up to the spectator to decide which are the abandoned places, and which are the short moments where just the lenses coverage blends out the daily chaos.
