Lines & Vectors

In this series, Horvath deconstructs images from his archive of 20th Century magazines, cutting and pasting fragments out of their intended frame of reference, creating hyper-real, imagined, colour saturated environments. While his imagery is sourced from material that was originally conceived to impact influence (such as mid-century advertisements) it is collaged with the intent of removing the initial context and reason, creating optimistic narratives informed by childhood memories.
