Lunar Moods

So simple, round, perfect, magical, and gleaming with joy. We celebrate the lunar cycle, we come together, and we share the happiness. Sun ripens life in the day and the moon comforts at night. Sometimes shying away partly behind the clouds the moon still reflects and cares. Civilizations have been fascinated by the ever changing characteristics of the moon. Since the ancient times we have been inspired by it and gave birth to various legends and mythologies. I see the moon and brings me joy. My paintings in this series have simple design and bold joyful colors; in an attempt to depict the feelings of joy and magic the moon instils in me.
