Memento Mori / Skull / Meditation

Although 'Memento Mori' as a theme is classically considered a death meditation, these graphite drawings of skulls are filled with the beauty of life, and meant as a gentle reminder to live each day with an appreciation for what is good. One day your physical life will end. And how glorious to live each day as precious. Recognizing it is un-promised; a miracle, like love. The impossibility of it. Its sweetness heightened. A reverence for all life. What ever else is happening, I am alive, and I am grateful.
