Nomadic (Feminine) Imagery

The traditional role of the nomads of the great steppes was very complex. Nomadism was fraught with conflict and danger. Therefore, steppe women were trained from an early age in occupations such as hunting and various crafts. Some of them even distinguished themselves as warriors. In general, the image of the nomadic woman was built around cunning. However, the romantic image of the nomadic woman remained that of a graceful and hospitable creature. The woman was the equivalent of the hospitable spirit of the settlement. That is why this collection is dedicated to the images of such nomads.
