Musica Picta / 2021

The “MUSICA PICTA” series includes drawings and paintings. In these works I tried to create music that could be perceived visually. Recreating narrative and harmonious plots as in a musical score, this is the idea behind these compositions on canvas. On the one hand the design and on the other the color. Two different approaches, two logics that I try to harmonize by creating a single musical thought, shapes that chase each other in a limited space, intensify or flow beyond the space of the canvas, and colors that give sound and substance to these paths, creating a dialogue with the shape also upsetting the initial equilibrium.
