Still Life

When I choose to paint a still life it is ususally driven by an unusual angle to. the subject matter or by the contrast of the flowers/fruit to the background and shadows. I always aim to keep a painterly style to the backgrounds while focusing on either the main colour or shape of the featured flowwrs and vase.
