Angels & Banana peels

Banana peels is one of my oldest pattern, it comes from the archetypal comic strip gag of the guy walking in the street while reading his paper not paying attention to the surroundings. Banana skins are here to remind us of our human condition... . We are like fallen angels that have to deal with triviality of life and unexpected misfortune. Angels in this series play an ambiguous part, they either take off those banana skins or deposit them... Anyway, the humorous relationship between those two patterns and possible meanings they convey is one of the main concern in this series.
