The basis for this painting is a monotype - a handprinting process, in which only one layer of printing is possible at a time. The idiosyncratic structures of this technique are painstakingly processed by hand and on handmade paper. This way delicate graphic leaves are created, which trace the organic structures in plants, animals and humans. They can be read as anthropomorphic reflections of nature, and at the same time document the search for elementary connections between all living things.
