SUNKEN EMPIRE

A visit to the exhibition "Sunken Cities - Egypt's Lost Worlds" at the British Museum 2016 is the source of these five works. The sunken state of the exhibits prior to salvage was far more enriching and poignant to the artist than the exhibits that had been brought to light and cleared of the patina of the time.
