HETEROTOPIA is the result of the artist's repeated strolling in one square mile of a forest. The experience of the pathway through the vegetation leads to see the landscape through successive frames, – photographical in Heterotopia, – insignificant and therefore, inviting to the imagination. "Heterotopia" refers to Michel Foucault's definition of distinct places on the fringe of the society, becoming space of reflection, mirrors of us and which offer the experience of the relation to the "other". At his turn, the humanistic geographer Gilles Sautter would eventually call "heterotopia" a "connivance landscape."
