Proceeds from prints in the Coast series will be donated to The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization, developing advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. By utilizing the ocean currents to our advantage, our passive drifting systems are estimated to clean up half the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 5 years’ time. Launched on September 8, 2018 from San Francisco, System 001 intends to prove the concept of The Ocean Cleanup's technology in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, the world's largest accumulation zone of ocean plastics - situated halfway between Hawaii and California. https://www.theoceancleanup.com
