Eye-to-Eye

If you are not very much interested in animals, you may find it peculiar to be interested in how an animal is. But that's exactly what I wanted to know - I wanted to know how my opponent is doing. To ask, "how are you?" is not possible - well, it is possible, but probably not very informative. The eyes are known to be the window to the soul. This is why I sought eye contact in this portrait series. Sometimes I had to wait a long time to get that look into their soul, but when it happened I was certainly overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment.
