What appealed to me about this motif was that every single reed stalk, together with its mirror image, has its own horizontal mirror axis. This is due to the different distances between the stalks. The ensemble of stalks and their mirror images are often reminiscent of Japanese characters. The color is created by the reflection of the sky. Other sizes on request.
