Beauty in the Forgotten American Moment
This series of images looks at places that were once bustling, vibrant communities of permanent residents or hopeful travelers on their way to the fulfillment of the American Dream. The moments captured signify what once was, when Route 66 was the Main Street of America and communities, whether permanent or transient, along it thrived. When American factory and mine workers also thrived before the advent of automation and the outsourcing of jobs. Beauty in the Forgotten American Moment shows viewers the ghosts of America past in these places which are at once hauntingly beautiful and nostalgic in a lot of ways and hopeless in many other ways.
