The Golden Years

The Golden Years, A candid 12 minute photo documentation of a group of friends celebrating at my friends wedding party. Bold, bright and honest glimpse into this groups dynamics. I am inspired by the great portrait photographers in particular the work of Nan Goldin. The title for this collection is a play on Nan Goldin's name. When I think of her I see her as a photographer and her work bathed in a golden hue. I gravitated to this group because they were in full celebratory mode and as photographer I felt that they were pulling me in, allowing me a unique glimpse into their close circle.
