POWER GAMES

Power Games is a story of a contemporary human being-his drives, fears, strengths and limitations. It is also an analysis of masculinity and femininity: Their areas of strength and libidinal conflicts, as well as their emotional, sexual, economic and social interdependences. My main inspiration comes from mythology and the Bible, which, in my opinion, epitomize the matriarchal and patriarchal archetypes. They combine the past with the present and myth with reality. Visually, my guides were the life and artistic endeavours of Caravaggio, as well as contemporary action movies.
