My Rhapsody in Pink series was inspired by my visit to Sydney, Australia. I sought to merge the essence of Aboriginal art with the contemporary lightness I experienced as a visitor. For years, I had admired Aboriginal painting, but being in Australia brought me closer to the deep connection its artists express. My work does not attempt to evoke the same relationship with the Earth and Cosmos. Instead, it emerges from the pulse of modern Sydney—the hum of crowds, the cheerful tourists, and the layered history of Sydney Harbour.
