Sailing boat, regattas and seascape: oil on canvas paintings.

A large commissioned project dedicated to the nautical world initiated my study of the pictorial rendering of light, taking as my first starting point the silent suspension of Edward Hopper's American Realism. The subjects were created taking inspiration from the photographs I personally took following the regattas. The over 70 oil on canvas works created to date have been appreciated by sailing enthusiasts and prestigious protagonists of the world of the sea and are now present in Italy, France, Switzerland, Holland, Russia, the United States, India, China, Brazil and the United Kingdom.
