Watching the Sunset silhouette the Satellite towers from my Santiago balcony, with the last rays of the day reflecting off the glass towers and refracting in the smog in hyper-vibrant washes, I was reminded of Monets London Fog Collection. Many of the themes of his work resonated with me, and feel very relevant now. I too found myself in a moment of great change globally both technologically and environmentally in a city with a serious air pollution problem, and I just so happened to have a balcony with a view that supported this narrative. The Sunset Cerro Collection is a selection of paintings I produced following Monet's example.
