Sea of Flowers

hanks to the experience Wil Lof gained working as dessinatrice and coloriste in the world of prints for ladies’ fashion, it was not difficult for her to revive the painting of colorful flowers. Having years of experience in designing and combining the vivid colors and color palette of natural flowers she started a few years ago painting the Series Flowers. Her most recent collection of flower based paintings are however even more created in an abstract style but still clearly recognizable as “by the hand of Wil Lof”. Unlike traditional flower paintings, the autonomous Series Sea of Flowers consists of colorful, large sized oblong paintings featuring abstract compositions.
