Sorrento Series

The Sorrento Series (2019) aims to capture the rugged surf coastlines and pristine bay beaches of the picturesque seaside town of Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula. Loosely based on photographs the artist has taken whilst running along the water (a favourite pastime), the abstract depictions evoke a sense of nostalgia of long summers spent by the ocean - the artist encourages the viewer to surrender to the incredible beauty of the natural landscape and enjoy being at one with the sun, sand and sea.
