The living garden

The Living Garden explores the garden not as a still setting, but as a constantly changing world of light, color and movement. Blossoming trees, lilacs, fruit branches, vines and old houses become part of the same living rhythm, transformed through expressive brushwork and intense color. Rather than describing nature literally, I am interested in the fleeting sensations that appear within it: sunlight passing through leaves, the weight of ripe fruit, the fragile abundance of spring blossom, and the changing colors of late summer and autumn. Many of these works were inspired by gardens and rural landscapes of Ukraine and painted from direct observation. Across the series, branches often become the structure of the composition, connecting foreground and distance. The garden becomes both a real place and an emotional space — intimate, abundant and continuously changing.
