“The Ocean, the Forest, and What’s Between”

The idea that drove this collection of oil paintings was to respond in a creative way to what it was like to be living, as I was at the time, in North Vancouver, Canada. This is an area of the city built along a thin strip of habitable land located between the Pacific Ocean to the West, and the 5,000 foot North Shore forested mountains to the East.
