These New Beginnings

A few months ago I had some new and profound inspiration. I wanted to give life to something new while using the old and the familiar. Create something new while sticking to the style in my recent series, until I wasn’t. Welcoming the unknown is scary, but letting go can be wildly liberating. I am grateful for this sense of adventure persistence and creation can invoke. I’m excited about this new body of work. Am I leaving the previous series behind? Absolutely not, but excited to add another portfolio of work with neutral colors, a million visible strokes and pop of color that, invokes life lived to its fullest despite the several shades of life.
