We enter the world of déjà vu here. We recognize Renaissance engravings, Japanese prints, we guess figures detached from a 60s coloring book or a contemporary advertisement. I use these patterns as a material that I just reshape ... These samples of images will be isolated, glued and diverted to modify or emphasize their meaning. Contrasting graphic styles confront each other in a sometimes anachronistic dialogue. The mythological figures are reactivated in what they have of timelessness. Some smooth and idealized figures are eradicated to be set in a more realistic context. Others will be reproduced and multiplied, they become symbols of the obsession of our society of production and insatiable consumption.
