Trophy Wives

The title “Trophy Wives” is a play on words and surreal interpretation of taxidermy. A woman’s shorn head is mounted as a hunting trophy and adorned with the horns or antlers of a non-human animal. The faces are beautiful and young and will remain so forever. Each has been chased, hunted, won and kept, all words used to describe both the pursuit of women and predation of wild animals for sport. The series acts as an analysis of the pedestal, and of dehumanization through language.
