Watercolor Still Lifes / Reflections

This series explores still life through the study of light, transparency, reflections, and subtle shifts of color. Working primarily in watercolor, I focus on glass, polished surfaces, ceramics, and everyday objects, using them as subjects for investigating how light transforms form and space. Rather than simply depicting objects, these paintings are exercises in observation and perception. Reflections, distortions, transparencies, and variations of light become essential elements of the composition, often blurring the boundary between the object and its surroundings.The series reflects my long-standing relationship with watercolor and my interest in transforming familiar subjects into studies of light, material, and atmosphere.
