I am Malin Hjortsberg-Blanck, a visual artist based in Malmö, Sweden. Through Art Imperfa, I explore the human figure through expressive drawing and colour.

The beauty in what is raw and simple appears when I let my non-dominant left hand guide me. It is a way of letting go of control — of allowing a line to hesitate, wander, or become something I could not have planned. When I make room for uncertainty, a different kind of beauty emerges: the wavering, the unexpected, the courage to be imperfect.

In my larger works, both hands become part of the process: I draw the figures with my left and add colour with my right.

Art Imperfa is my celebration of the body in all its shapes, of creativity, of desire, and of the freedom to create without having to make everything perfect.
