About The Artwork

This work is part of my hard edge series. It is a mixed media collage on canvas The collage emerged as I manipulated the materials, which is the way I usually work. The color and materials are the inspiration. and I usually include some three dimensional feature, in this case, the square. The coral colored foil and the coral "fallen leaves" are a counterpoint to the the neutrals in the rest of the collage. To me, the painting looks sophistocated and fits well in modern decor. The work is wired and ready for hanging.
