About The Artwork
Foxes Textile Art was created solely from recycled fabric scraps. Unwanted fabric sample books are my colour palette. I pinned a number of textile scraps, cotton, silk, tweed, wool etc... onto a linen background. I then hand stitched the pieces onto the background . To blend the different fabric elements together I free motion embroidered over the piece with various thread colours. I love foxes and the colours of their fur. The frame is also created from fabric remnants The piece is framed into a box frame and is ready to hang.

My colour palettes are a selection of fabric sample books I rescued from landfill. I use a variety of techniques from hand stitch, free motion machine stitch and wet and needle felting.
