I was inspired by gold jewelry to create this tree sparkly, white and gold tree titled: "Frosted Pearls" . The background was glazed with a sparkle over the white so when light shines on the piece, the background sparkles. I individually sculpted/textured/painted and adorned each circle on the tree with found objects/items I've collected over the years such as crystals, mirrors, beads, jewelry, ceramic pieces shaped like flowers, moons, hearts, etc. and other treasures. I hand-painted with acrylic paint the tree trunk and background of the tree onto a wood panel - once artwork is assembled, I then coat the artwork in a 2 part epoxy resin which permanently embeds each circle/treasure on the tree and creates a shiny, irresistible surface over the artwork. I then mounted the artwork onto a 10x10 inch wood panel that I painted the perfect shade of gold to create a frame to blend with and make this artwork pop. I used white with a sparkle glaze for the background of the tree. I used multiple colors of white, gold, champagne and bronze within the tree. This artwork is wired on the back for easy hanging.
