ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by David Hockney's Work in the Yorkshire Wolds I have depicted this view in textiles I work with mainly recycled textiles such as silk scarves and small scraps of organza and chiffon. I then free motion embroider onto the layers of fabric to create depth and texture.
