Hysteria of fatigue Collage

This artwork is about how women see themselves. Many women I know often feel like they're not good enough as mothers, lack certain skills, or aren't good wives, beautiful, or feminine enough. It's a constant feeling of not measuring up. In today's world, people on social media use filters to look better—slimmer, prettier, younger. This pursuit of a perfect image focuses too much on appearances and neglects what's on the inside. This artwork captures the ongoing struggle of never feeling like we have enough. It's about always comparing ourselves to unrealistic standards. The painting shows tired women, just like me, trying to keep up with the pressure of having a perfect life. Here I used collage and layering techniques with gold papers to show how people reshape themselves to fit in. The gold papers represent this process of transformation, highlighting the complex way we see ourselves and try to meet society's expectations.
